*Beaver Dam Community Hospital has another date for athletic sports physicals - Wednesday, August 7th from 4 o'clock to 6:30 PM at Beaver Dam.  Call 920-219-4009 to schedule an appointment.  Cost is $10 cash.

*A make-up meeting for athletic participation at Dodgeland is scheduled for Monday, August 5th at 6:00 pm in the Media Center.  Student and parent attendance at a meeting is required by school policy and state statue to participate in sports during the 2019-2020 school year. Enter school through Door 6.

The Wisconsin Concussion Law, Act 172, Statute 118.293 requires all parents/guardians and athletes to be educated on the risks of concussions and head injuries. Therefore, any student planning on participating in any athletic activity during the 2019-2020 school must attend this meeting with a parent or guardian. Athletes and parents not in attendance at the meetings will be required to watch a video copy of this meeting and complete an accompanying document consisting of questions of the meeting content and concussion information. The student-athlete may not participate in any practices until this meeting obligation is fulfilled by both student and parent.

We believe, both athletic and academic co-curricular activities not only give students the opportunity to get involved, work with their peers, and develop new interests; but they also give our students the opportunity to apply the soft skills that they are learning in the classroom including team building, leadership, decision-making, and problem solving. We view these activities as an extension of the classroom, and are proud of our students for becoming well-rounded citizens.
