FFA

Dodgeland High School FFA

  1. The FFA Organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

Agriculture education prepares students for successful careers and a lifetime of informed choices in the global agriculture, food, fiber and natural resource systems.

The Dodgeland FFA Chapter participates in many events throughout the year. Some activities we do are Food For America/Petting Zoo, World Dairy Expo, National FFA Convention, Big Buck Contest, 212 & 360 Conferences, Veterans Day Assembly, Holiday Sale and Fundraiser, Christmas Holiday Party, Speaking Contest, CDE Competition, Half-Time Conference, a bowling night, Farm Forum Conference, FFA Week, Mother’s Day Plant Sale, State FFA Convention, and exhibiting projects at the local county fair!

Any student in grades 7-12 can join FFA. It is highly recommended that the student is enrolled in an agriculture course, too. You do not have to live on a farm or plan to be a farmer in order to join FFA! The National FFA Organization affirms its belief in the value of all human beings and seeks diversity in its membership, leadership and staff.

    How do students join?

Students can join until February 20. All they need to do is complete a membership form and pay their dues.

FFA and agricultural education will impact the lives of students involved by increasing academic achieve and personal growth, strengthening American agriculture, and providing leadership to build healthy local communities, a strong nation, and a sustainable world.
