German Club

Dodgeland High School German Club

German Club is open to all students currently enrolled in German Levels 1-5 and is comprised of grades 8-12.  If you are enrolled in German class, you're automatically in German Club! German Club is about exposing students to the German language and culture, including widening one's worldview and putting one’s language skills to the test not only in class, but also overseas in unpredictable situations to meet one's needs and wants on a biannual European Study Tour.   To be eligible for the optional European Study Tour, students must be currently enrolled in a German class, have all passing grades in all courses, demonstrate appropriate, mature behavior and then apply with Mr. Bothun in person. Information regarding upcoming tours is shared during class and also via an informational parent meeting where students and parents gather information about a specific upcoming tour, which are run on odd numbered years in the springtime.  Priority for the 18-20 limited seats on the tour are awarded to students in the upper levels and upper grades first followed by lower levels secondarily.   You can contact Mr. Bothun anytime via email to or via phone at 920.386.4404 x1302. Danke schön!
