Today is a B day.  

Grade 7 eats first today and will be dismissed at the 11:31 bell while grades 6 and 8 remain in their classrooms for 1 minute.  Release to activities will begin at 11:45. Thank you for helping keep the commons clean by picking up after yourselves when you finish eating.

The Media Center is open to students to play cards, board games, SUDUKO or to read from 11:45 - 12:00 each day.  Please finish eating your lunch in the commons before coming in.

Middle school students are not permitted to stay after school unless they are participating in a specific activity supervised by an adult, coach or faculty member.  Attending a 4:30 MS sports event is included in this expectation… must be supervised after school or return to school at 4:30 for the event.

Middle Forensics starts TODAY after school from 3:15 - 5:00.  Meet Coach Schwoerer and Coach Wedel in the commons (bring your coat and backpacks along) and remember to sign up for the late bus if you need transportation home. 

Middle School Girls Basketball season starts Wednesday after school.  Make sure you have all required forms completed and on file in the MS/HS office to be able to actively start practice.

DMS students:  Get ready to celebrate the upcoming holiday season DMS style!  As we’ve done in the past, the week before break has special dress up days like Polar Express PJ Day and Red and Green Day, as well as activities to make the week especially joyful.  Next Monday, check the hallways for posters that give more information about the dress up days for the week of December 16-20.

Boys Basketball plays at home today against Horicon beginning at 4:30.

Charity Raffle - Are you looking for a holiday gift for a friend or family member? Do you like being charitable? Do you like winning prizes? Dodgeland NHS will be holding a raffle December 9-19 for New Beginnings Homeless Shelter in Beaver Dam. Prizes include a laptop, a $50 Walmart gift card, and a $20 gift card for Village Gardens! Pick what prizes you want a chance to win. Tickets range between $1-5 depending on prize. Purchase tickets during lunch and possibly before school/at certain after-school events.

FBLA Members: Have you been practicing your Gingerbread House making skills? Do you want to compete with your fellow members, against your fellow members? Mark you calendars for December 18 at 6:45pm. 

Ugly Sweater Contest- Starts December 12-December 17. Enter a new sweater each day to win grand prize of oversized candy bars and Common Grounds gift cards.  Staff and students. See Mr. Jacquart to enter contest!

High School Christmas Holiday Door Decorating - Compete for the trophy…FROSTY’S HAT!!!  

SkillsUSA is once again sponsoring the annual Door Decorating Contest in the High School! Decorate your doorway with a holiday theme that also demonstrates your class, department, or academic focus!

JV and Varsity Boys Basketball plays at Central Wisconsin Christian tonight.  Bus time is 4:45. JV begins at 6:00 and Varsity 7:30.


Students are reminded to be checking their school emails daily beginning or end of  period 2 and also 3:05 (end of period 8). 

Everyone deserves a gift this Christmas! Through the month a December we will be collecting items or money for the Dodge County Humane Society. We have a goal of 300 items. If cash is given every $1 equals 1 item. After we collect everything and we had reached our goal, we will bring some animals from the Humane Society for you can pet them during an advisory. Please help donate items for the Humane Society so the pets can have a happy holiday. If any questions see Alyssa Buske, Amanda Eggebrecht, Mya Schreier and Autumn Soter. 

Princess is a 3 year old kitty that is looking for a good home for the holidays!


Peanut Butter, Jelly and Pasta Wars: The FFA is holding a food drive for the Gathering Source until Wednesday, December 18. For every jar of peanut butter, jelly, or pasta sauce, or each box of pasta, you will have your name entered into a drawing for a pair of AirPods. Please drop off items in Mr. VanEgtern’s room(312) before or after school or during lunch.

FFA - Holiday Party during ADVISORY Thursday. Middle school members can come down after they complete their reading. High school members need to sign-up with Mr. VanEgtern to be pulled.

Lunch for Today: K-12 Nachos, Refried Beans, Mexicali Corn, Creole Style Okra and Assorted Fruit.

Tomorrow’s Lunch: K-12 Chicken Patty Sandwich, Green Beans, Coconut Curry Chickpeas, Beets and Assorted Fruit.
