MIDDLE SCHOOL


Today is an “A” day.  Grade 6 eats lunch first today followed by grades 8 then 7.


Reminder to MS BBB players - tonight you will be recognized at the HS BBB game - prior to varsity warm-ups.  Please be sitting behind the home player bench by 6:45.


Holiday Spirit Week starts next Monday, so dress up in an ugly holiday sweater.  If you don’t have one, make your own!


  • Will your Aspire have the greatest percentage of ugly sweaters on Monday?  Let’s find out!


HIGH SCHOOL

FBLA Members: Sign-up to work concessions today outside of Mrs. Beaudo’s room.


Jostens will be here today during HS lunch for class ring delivery.  If you have a balance due, please bring remainder payable to Jostens.


HOLIDAY WEEK Activities:

  • Dress-up Days - Points will be taken daily during 2nd period

    • Monday - Merry Monday Morning---Pajama Day

    • Tuesday - Santa’s Workshop---Dress as Santa, Elves, Reindeer, etc

    • Wednesday - Holiday Color Day

      • Freshmen - White

      • Sophomores - Gold

      • Juniors - Red

      • Seniors - Green

      • Staff - Silver/Gray

    • Thursday - Tacky Holiday Gear---Sweaters, Hats, Accessories, etc

    • Friday - Family Photo Friday---Flannel


  • Door Decorating Contest - Sponsored by SkillsUSA

    • Decorate a teacher’s door with holiday spirit! All staff have rules and guidelines. Decorating can be done during IEB, but must be completed by Thursday 12/20



  • Little Lost Candy Cane - There will be clues provided throughout the week in the announcements describing the location of a hidden/lost candy cane. The person to locate and return it will receive a prize. Candy Cane must be turned into Mr. VanEgtern.



  • Secret Santa - A volunteer staff member will be selected as the Secret Santa. Clues will be given daily in the announcements next week describing this staff member. A survey will be administered at the end of the week for students to guess the identity of the Secret Santa.


  • Block the Door Food Drive - The Holiday Season is a time of giving. The FFA would like to sponsor a food drive where the goal of each 3rd hour class is to gather enough items to cover the doorway to their classroom. Each successful classroom will receive breakfast goodies. This will be based on 3rd hour and will be judged/collected at 9:35am on Friday, December 21. Students can bring in items all week. Items will be donated to the Gathering Source.

    • Holiday Cheer

    • Awarding of the Spirit Cane


CLASS OF 2020(Juniors): There will be a prom committee meeting during lunch on Friday in Mr. VanEgtern’s room. Theme, decorations, and details will be discussed. Please attend to contribute to the decision making.


Boys JV2/JV and Varsity Basketball play at home tonight against Fall River.  JV2 begins at 4:30, JV at 6:00 and Varsity 7:15.


JV and Varsity Girls Basketball play at Horicon tonight.  Bus time is 5:00. JV begins at 6:00 and Varsity 7:15.


JV and Varsity Hockey plays at DeForest tonight.  Bus time is 3:15. JV begins at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:30. Varsity also competes tomorrow at home against Aquinas.  Game time is 2:00.


Wrestling competes at Beaver Dam tomorrow beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Bus time is 7:00 a.m.


MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL


FFA: Holiday Party TODAY during IEB. We will be having snacks and a White Elephant gift exchange. A white elephant gift is a present that you do not spend money on. It could be something you have laying around at home that you no longer use.

FFA: Sign-up for the Saturday, February 9th Badger Hockey trip. $20 must be paid by TODAY to reserve your ticket! Family and friends welcome


Spanish students will have their yearbook photos taken today during IEB.  Please meet by the office.


Lunch for Today: K-12 Mini Corn Dogs, Cauliflower, Beets, Zucchini Squash and Assorted Fruit.
